Invitation to Participate
Do you offer software, resources, or services that gateway creators or users should know about? We invite you to participate in the Gateways 2016 Resource Expo! This will include:
Participating as an exhibitor in the Resource Expo has only two requirements:
1. Fill out this form (by Monday, October 17)
2. Register for the conference (either for the full conference or a portion including the Expo by Tuesday, October 25)
- Industry vendors
- Software producers
- Resource providers
- Platform providers
For our inaugural Resource Expo, participating organizations will have a table for displaying information and interacting with conference attendees. It is a great opportunity to showcase products and services, network with decision-makers, and recruit individuals eager to pursue careers in the field. Participation requires conference registration (for the Resource Expo only or for the entire conference). Co-located with the Resource Expo will be the Poster Session and a reception with refreshments. The Resource Expo, Poster Session, and Reception will be Wednesday, November 2, starting at 6:00 pm.
Sponsorships are also available starting at $1000 (for-profit organizations) and $700 (non-profit), and include prime table placement at the Resource Expo, as well as prime placement of your materials during the conference. Please see the Gateways 2016 Conference Sponsorship Prospectus for further details.
If you are interested in participating in the Resource Expo, please fill out this form by Monday, October 17. Feel free to email Katherine Lawrence email@example.com with questions about the Resource Expo or sponsorship.
The Gateways 2016 conference is an expansion of the long-running Gateway Computing Environments workshop series, and the conference will be the 11th gathering dedicated to this topic. Previously, most of the workshops have been a half-day or full-day subcomponent of a larger conference such as Supercomputing or XSEDE. This year, with the National Science Foundation funding of the Science Gateways Community Institute (SGCI), we are expanding the format to two full days, adding the Resource Expo (combined with a Poster Session and Reception) as well as other expanded content. We hope that this new format will grow attendance from the usual 30–40 workshop participants to a larger, more diverse group.
