Dennis Gannon, formerly of Indiana University and Microsoft, has written a terrific blog post summarizing the recent 10th Gateway Computing Environments Workshop (GCE15). He shares his favorite talks as well as some commentary about Dan Katz’s talk and the implications for software sustainability.

10th Gateway Computing Environments Workshop (GCE15)

The 10th Gateway Computing Environments workshop was co-hosted with WSSSPE3 from noon on September 30th to noon on October 1st in Boulder, Colorado, USA. The workshop continued the previous GCE series theme of providing a means of exchanging ideas, building on the experiences of others, and reducing the “time to science.” It featured case studies and an opportunity to share common experiences.

9th Gateway Computing Environments Workshop (GCE14)

We will be at the Supercomputing 2014 (SC14) conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. We’ll be hosting this half-day workshop at the conference on Friday, November 21, 2014. It will provide a means of exchanging ideas, building from the experiences of others and reducing the “time to science.” It will feature case studies and an opportunity to share common experiences.
