XSEDE16 BOF on Science Gateways Community Institute


Join us at XSEDE16 on Tuesday, July 19 from 5:15-6:15pm in the Chopin Ballroom for a BOF titled “XSEDE, the Science Gateways Community Institute and You.”

This BOF will provide an overview of the offerings of the new Science Gateways Community Institute and solicit feedback on additional services the community would like to see.

SC15: A summary of Science Gateways activities

At SC15 in November, there were more than a dozen presentations and gatherings related to science gateways. Institute team member Marlon Pierce assembled a list of those papers, presentations, exhibits, demos, and gatherings here:

9th Gateway Computing Environments Workshop (GCE14)

We will be at the Supercomputing 2014 (SC14) conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. We’ll be hosting this half-day workshop at the conference on Friday, November 21, 2014. It will provide a means of exchanging ideas, building from the experiences of others and reducing the “time to science.” It will feature case studies and an opportunity to share common experiences.

XSEDE14 in Atlanta

Suresh Marru and Nancy Wilkins-Diehr co-chaired the software environments track at XSEDE14 in Atlanta (July 13-18, 2014). Others from the Institute team also attended.
