Internships

Hands-on work experiences for graduate students

We offer summer learning experiences through our internship programs. The internship program is open to students anywhere in the country.

Gateway Development Internships

Our Workforce Development team offers internships for students interested in developing their gateway development skills. The internships are intended to provide hands-on experience and to provide a unique opportunity for student engagement with the community.

Summer Internships at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC)

We will begin to review applications on November 1, 2023. The review process will continue on a rolling basis until all slots are filled. The application process will close on January 31, 2024.

Eligible applicants include graduate students majoring in computer science or computer engineering (or related fields). The student will be funded by SGX3 to join the TACC science gateway team for the summer, working on live, impactful gateways.

Note: For students with a visa, please confirm with your school to ensure this does not impact your visa program. SGX3 is not responsible for the impact to your visa status. This is NOT considered employment but a scholarship opportunity.

The program will run from June 1 - August 3, 2024.
