Atmospheric Researchers Will Benefit from Improvements Made by SGCI Consultants and Intern on LROSE Gateway

The Lidar Radar Open Software Environment (LROSE) project provides atmospheric researchers to high-quality, open source software. Researchers have had to install LROSE onto their individual machines, which caused several issues since users are not necessarily software experts. Wanting to benefit the community by providing a user-friendly gateway but lacking the expertise to do so on their own, the LROSE team sought support from SGCI consultants and an intern.

GenApp's User Interface Modernized Thanks to Successful Engagements With SGCI

The GenApp team participated in Gateway Focus Week in 2017 and then worked with SGCI Usability and Extended Developer Support consultants to improve their user-interface. They also hosted three funded SGCI interns who worked on improving the gateway.
