Nancy Wilkins-Diehr was at eScience '12 in Chicago, IL on Monday, October 8, 2012 attending a kickoff workshop.

The session included an overview of the institute, its year one goals, and a series of lightning talks focusing on different kinds of gateways in use today. Four representatives from ECSU attended, and they posted a  report of their experience .
