Smartphone app will help UT researchers study pregnancy

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded the University of Texas at Austin a $1.2 million Smart and Connected Health grant to help with research using smartphones to track the activity and behavior of 1,000 pregnant women in the Austin area.   SGCI will be providing consulting services to the project. SGCI is piloting a Science Ambassadors program that will provide travel support for those interested in promoting the use of gateways in research or education or in training others in the use of a gateway.
