Supercomputing in Plain English (SiPE) Workshops

The Supercomputing in Plain English (SiPE) workshops focus on fundamental issues of High-Performance Computing (HPC) as they relate to computational and data-enabled science and engineering and include topics ranging from the storage hierarchy and HPC application types and parallel paradigms to accelerator computing and scientific visualization.

The SiPE workshops are offered by the University of Oklahoma Supercomputing Center for Education and Research and are free and open to all who meet the prerequisite (1 semester of programming experience and/or coursework in either Fortan, C, C++, or Java).

Spring 2018 workshops will be held at 1:30 pm ET on Tuesdays starting 1/23/18 and offered through 5/1/18. The workshop is available to in-person attendees as well as to those who wish to attend via video conference.

Registration is required, but only once per semester (you will not need to register for each week separately).
