Please join us on Friday, July 28 at 12 pm ET to learn more about SGCI's Science Gateways Bootcamp and who might benefit from attending. The deadline for applications for the fall Bootcamp is, you guessed it, Friday, July 28!
SGCI's Michael Zentner, Bootcamp lead and Director of the Incubator service area, will make a presentation and also be available for any questions about the week-long, intensive Bootcamp for leaders of gateways who want to further develop and scale their work. Participants of the Bootcamp engage in hands-on activities to help them articulate the value of their work to key stakeholders and to create a strong development, operations, and sustainability plan. More information about the Bootcamp is available at https://sciencegateways.org/bootcamp, and you can read about the experiences of the first cohort of Bootcamp attendees on our blog.
Along with his work with SGCI, Michael Zentner is also Senior Research Scientist and Director of HUBzero Platform for Science and Engineering and Entrepreneur in Residence at the Purdue Foundry. Michael has been a technology company founder or senior team member for 18 years, has worked extensively to apply research in industry, and currently oversees the development and deployment of the HUBzero science gateway platform, a self-sustaining business unit at Purdue University. Michael is also co-PI on the nanoHUB.org project, a science gateway serving millions of visitors annually, at Purdue where he leads the impact analytics effort.
