Monday, November 12

Tuesday, November 13

  • 11:15am-12:00pm
    SGCI's Marlon Pierce and Suresh Marru, along with Eric Coulter, will present "Building Science Gateways with Apache Airavata" at the Indiana University booth #2400.
  • 1:30pm-3:00pm
    SGCI's Sandra Gesing, Claire Stirm, and Maytal Dahan will participate in "The Next 150 Years of Health, Aerospace, AI, and Climate Change Research" panel at the Purdue University booth #1005.

Wednesday, November 14

  • 11:30am-12:00pm
    SGCI's Mike Zentner will present "When We Make Giant Leaps, Let's Not Forget Them: How to Sustain Your Research" at the Purdue University booth #1005.
  • 3:00-3:30pm
    SGCI's Nancy Wilkins-Diehr and Mike Zentner will give a talk about sustainability for gateways at SDSC Booth #3013. Members of SGCI's leadership team will be available at this time for a meet-and-greet, and craft beer will be served!
  • 3:30-5:00pm
    SGCI's Sandra Gesing will be one of the panelists at the "Sustaining Research Software" Panel at C147/148/154.

  • Monday, November 12 is the Fifth SC Workshop on Best Practices for HPC Training and Education (BPHTE18). There will be lightning talks from 2-3pm. "Programmable Education Infrastructure: Cloud resources as HPC Education Environments" will be presented by Eric Coulter, along with others, at 2:45pm.
