Congratulations to Thomas Johnson, a student at Elizabeth City State University and SGCI intern, for being selected to compete in the inaugural Computing4Change competition! The competition will be co-located with SC18 in Dallas, TX November 11-16, 2018. There are 16 undergraduate students who will compete in Computing4Change, which aims to encourage students to compute for positive change in society. During the competition, students will work as part of a team to apply data analysis and computational thinking to a social challenge while experiencing the latest tools and techniques from computing and data science.
