SGCI recently launched its Affiliates Program, which gives software and/or resource providers the opportunity to expand their reach by providing assistance to gateway projects. Through this program, individuals and organizations that provide software or other resources agree to provide free support and assistance to gateway projects that want to use their software or resources.

Why become an SGCI Affiliate? This program offers an opportunity to give your software components greater visibility, broader use and application, and also provides opportunities to expand your own expertise and experience.

Current participants of the Affiliates program are HUBzero, Abaco, Agave, Galaxy Software Framework, and GenApp. Each of these Affiliates provides unique support, ranging from software support for SGCI clients, software instances on the SGCI hosting environment, and more.

“SGCI is excited about working with Affiliates to extend our ability to help the research community build science gateways effectively, while also identifying important audiences for these packages,” says SGCI’s Director Nancy Wilkins-Diehr.
