The ESIP Lab has a special RFP out to fund machine learning tutorials specifically for hydrology, seismology, and the cryosphere. These are microgrants that will help make ML educational materials more robust and accessible for Earth science researchers and educators. (Check out the Q&A blog post about two examples.) Projects will get $5,000, or $7,000 if they use the Geoweaver platform, and all the projects will be part of a cohort whose work will be included in the NSF’s GeoSMART Curriculum.
