The Science Gateways Community Institute (SGCI), which is organizing this conference, has resources to assist individuals who wish to participate in the conference but do not have funding available.

Since the conference is online this year, and we are aware that many universities and institutions have frozen travel funds or otherwise compromised budgets, we are offering grants to help cover the cost of registration.

Grant recipients who are not presenting are asked to provide a brief testimonial of their experience after the conference. These can be sent to sciencegateways@gmail.com.

Apply for registration support here. Please email a PDF of the email announcement, web page, or other communication relevant to frozen or otherwise unavailable funds to sciencegateways@gmail.com. If you are funded through this registration support program, you will need to register for the conference, and a refund check will be mailed to you after you submit your receipt. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Because our participant support funds are from the National Science Foundation, we are only allowed to fund participants from US institutions. International students at US institutions are eligible.
