Registration is open for the 2023 iRODS User Group Meeting

The Integrated Rule-Oriented Data System (iRODS) is open source data management software used by research organizations and government agencies worldwide. iRODS is released as a production-level distribution aimed at deployment in mission critical environments. It virtualizes data storage resources, so users can take control of their data, regardless of where and on what device the data is stored. As data volumes grow and data services become more complex, iRODS is serving an increasingly important role in data management.

The 15th Annual iRODS User Group Meeting will be held from June 13-16, 2023 in Chapel Hill, NC. The event is a great chance to meet iRODS users, Consortium members, and staff to discuss iRODS-enabled applications and discoveries, technologies powered by iRODS, and the future of iRODS and the iRODS Consortium.

On Tuesday, June 13, the iRODS Consortium Development Team will provide Beginner and Advanced Training sessions. From June 14-15, the team will host several presentations from the user community and the core development team, including use case presentations, live demonstrations, and open discussions about requested iRODS features. On Friday, June 16, the iRODS Consortium will host an iRODS Troubleshooting session where participants can get some one-on-one help with an existing or planned iRODS installation or integration.

A list of talks and presentations, as well as registration details, are now available on the event website: https://irods.org/ugm2023/
