This webinar will provide a recap of the SGX3 Curriculum Enhancement Model known as The Faculty Hackathon, which took place virtually September 16-20, 2024. The hackathon assisted over 30 university faculty in developing their high-performance computing skills and passing them on to their students. Past faculty participants will present their revised courses and share their new courses focused on using science gateways and HPC resources through classroom exercises, projects, and demonstrations. John Holmen of Oak Ridge National Laboratory will highlight community mentors' significant contribution, which has been documented through papers and publications, to the Faculty Hackathon's success.
