Abstract

The Agave Platform is an open source, Science-as-a-Service solution for hybrid cloud computing. It provides a collection of RESTful web services that covering everything from standards-based authentication and authorization to computational, data, and collaboration services. Agave is zero install, and does not require commitment to get started. Pull down the CLI or one of the SDK in your preferred programming language and developers can get stated today. End users can use any of the prebuilt Agave ToGo science gateways to get some work done quickly, or to jump start their own gateway. The Agave team maintains a managed, hosted instance of the platform on Jetstream Cloud. This instance is available for use by the open science community free of charge.
